On Saturday November the 2nd, IEEE WIE Ottawa
section hosted Dr. Jason Jaskolka who is an Assistant Professor
in the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering and the Director of the
Cyber Security Evaluation and Assurance (CyberSEA) Research Lab at Carleton
University. In this seminar, Dr. Jason has talked about the innovations in
digital health technologies and the main challenges they are facing nowadays.
To make the seminar more enjoyable for our speaker and the attendance,
refreshments were available along with some light snacks. The interest of the
attendance was noticeable when they started to participate by asking the
speaker questions and making comments. When the seminar was over, we got a
chance to take pictures by our professional photographer before we headed to
have lunch at the university café where everyone got a chance to get to know each
other closely and get more chance to know about cyber security more from Dr.
Jason.
