Dr. Abdulmotaleb El Saddik was recognized with the Technical
Award of IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society. Professor El
Saddik was awarded this prize for his outstanding contributions to
multimedia computing. The Society presented its 2010 Society Awards
at I2MTC 2011 in Binjiang, Hangzhou, China.

Dr. Abdulmotaleb El Saddik was also named a 2010 Distinguished Scientist
by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Also this year, he
was inducted as a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC).
