The IEEE Ottawa Robotics Competition aims at bringing engineering awareness to students in grades 5 to 12 by presenting a fun and instructive approach to problem solving. Students build and program robots through Lego Mindstorms and Arduino platforms for a specific challenge and show off their skills on competition day.

For the 14th iteration of the event, there are 6 challenges and about 80 teams comprising of about 350 students (30 more teams and 100 more students than last year!).

The competition is taking place on Saturday, May 28th. We need judges, crowd control, lunch time volunteers, and photographers/videographers. If you’re interested, please sign up at http://orc.ieeeottawa.ca/volunteering

If you have any questions, please email us at orcinfo@ieeeottawa.ca
