Doctoral Consortium organized at the 15th IFAC/IEEE Symposium on Information Control in Manufacturing (INCOM 2015).

Abstract
The Doctoral Consortium will provide an opportunity for graduate students who have started their research to:

  • Gain an overview of the breadth and depth of recent research in modern manufacturing systems;
  • Present their research work to an expert panel at Dissertation Sessions;
  • Receive feedback and suggestions from peers and experienced faculty;
  • Obtain insight into postdoctoral studies, granting and job market opportunities;
  • Network with peers and future colleagues.

The consortium will also provide an extensive social program as well as awards for best dissertation papers.

Two formats of the papers will be accepted: full papers, subject to the regular review, and extended abstracts (1-2 pages). Full papers will be archived by Elsevier and considered for post-conference journal publications. Extended abstracts (the student fee applies) will appear, copyright free, in the conference CD-ROM.
