Dear Members,

This is a call for participation and to take advantage of the Early Bird Registration (discounted) fees for HPCPS-2012,  IEEE International Workshop on High-Performance Chip, Package and Systems, first edition of which is held  in Ottawa. The early bird deadline will end as of 20th November (Tuesday).

HPCPS is focused on the emerging high-performance electronic chip, packages and systems. Major theme of the workshop is focused on the co-design, modeling and analysis of the mixed-domain issues arising due to the high-speed, high-density and low-power requirements that are demanded from today’s chip, interconnect, package and systems. Particular emphasis is also placed on signal and power integrity and electromagnetic compatibility in modern designs. Emerging techniques and methodologies for mixed-domain integration of diverse modules such as novel interconnects, optical components, RF devices and MEMS with electronic chips and packages are also considered.

The program for the program for the HPCPS-2012 is posted on the Conference Program link at the http://www.hpcps.org. The workshop is held in Ottawa (Ontario)  on 24th Nov.  This year’s program features 8 invited talks from eminent researchers in the area, including: Keynote speeches from

Dr. Albert Ruehli, Emeritus, IBM TJ Watson Research Center,

Dr. NS Nagaraj, University of Texas at Dallas, USA and

Distinguished Lecture from Prof. Adam Skorek, University of Quebec (TR).

HPCPS is pleased to announce 25 student awards in the form of free registration to the workshop (a $150 value each). To be considered for the award, please fill up the Application-Form and submit it by 16th Nov. 2012 to admin@hpcps.org .

HPCPS-2012 is supported by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, IEEE Ottawa Section, several local chapters of the IEEE and Carleton University.

Early Bird Registration (discounted) is open until Tue, Nov. 20, 2012.

We look forward to seeing you in the HPCPS-2012

Sincerely,

On behalf of the HPCPS-2012 Steering Committee
