On Saturday, November 30th 2019, IEEE WIE Ottawa has held a Lunch & Learn event. The talk entitled “Women's Impact in the Industry” was presented by Eng. Mohammed Ali Rencüz from CISCO Systems. It covered life and business in software engineering world, some networking theory, women’s impact in the industry and much more!

On 28 Nov 2019 was presented a seminar “Modern Day Applications of Power Electronics – Who Can Benefit? “ by the distinguish lecturer Dr. Kalyan K. Sen. The seminar was organized by PELS, RS-PEL and SSIT. As the Region 1-3 & 7 Coordinator of Power Electronics Society, Dr. Kalyan K. Sen presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Habash for his support and encouraging student of University of Ottawa to precipitate to PELS seminars.
