Looking for a coop or a job? Want to make an impression at the networking events and during an interview. IEEE WIE Carleton and IEEE WIE Ottawa Section are teaming up to present an Interview and Networking Workshop. It will have two stations geared to get you ready for the coop or job hunt. The first half of the event will give you a chance to answer interview questions and be given feedback from professionals and hiring managers of all engineering fields. The second half focuses on how to make the right first impression at a networking event. Then stay for the mini networking session at the end of the night to try out your new skills. Go Code Girl! provides an exciting opportunity for girls in grades 6 to 12 (groups
will be split by age range) to learn about the exciting world of coding
and software development, and to discover opportunities in computing
and engineering fields. Combining technology and craft, the girls will
bring creation to life and meet awesome mentors! This event will equip
girls with the digital skills needed for today’s digital world.

The annual Carleton University Green Energy Symposium is taking place this year on Saturday, January 25th in Residence Commons on the Carleton’s campus! The theme this year is Smart Cities. The public are welcome and food will be provided.
