THE SPEAKER  David Levan is president of DLSF Systems Inc. He has a Control Systems Technology degree from the Hamilton Institute of Technology, and an MASc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University Of Waterloo. He was the recipient of several awards and scholarships.  David has 13 years of experience in the areas of system safety and software safety having focussed on the safety-critical areas of medical devices, nuclear power, rail systems (especially driver-less), aerospace, and defence. His analytical experience also includes that of systems which have failed catastrophically resulting in death, and system loss.
