UN
and IEEE Humanitarian Technology Challenge
Overview:
The Humanitarian Technology Challenge (HTC) is a three year partnership
between the IEEE and the United Nations Foundation. It is the first
time that a major humanitarian organization and a major technology
association have formed an up-front, collaborative
relationship, to: Bring a more systematic approach to applying
technology to solve world problems; Identify three challenges and drive
solutions that are implementable and sustainable; Formulate solutions
through a combination of workshops and the use of online collaboration
tool(s). Join us to learn more about it and to join in the effort (http://www.ieeehtc.org/).
