Abstract

We all hear of the latest and greatest smartphones and networks – 2G/3G/4G/LTE and beyond, but are you curious to know how they evolved and what may be the next new interface? Frank Rayal of BLiNQ Networks/TSI will present the evolution story in this interactive presentation.

Frank brings over 18 years of experience in the wireless industry where he held leadership positions with vendors to pioneer radio access and backhaul solutions as well as to provide design services to network operators.  In his current role as VP, Product Management at BLiNQ, Frank is responsible for defining scalable wireless backhaul solutions for small cell base stations. He’s also principal at TSI, a management consulting firm focused on broadband wireless networks and applications. Frank held product management positions at Redline, Metawave and Ericsson. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, and a MASc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Toronto, Canada.
